This is the privacy notice for sleeplabix.com, operated by SleepLabix ("we", "us"). It covers the information we deal with and the options open to you. Briefly: the time you want to wake or sleep is computed locally and never leaves your machine.

Scope of this policy

The tool this page covers is SleepLabix, a sleep-cycle calculator. Put simply, it suggests bedtimes and wake times that land at the end of a ninety-minute sleep cycle rather than in the middle of one, and the way it does so is this: it counts backwards or forwards from the wake or sleep time you choose in ninety-minute cycles and adds the time you usually take to fall asleep, so the suggested moment sits between cycles rather than inside one. Everything stated here applies to that tool and the values it handles, and to nothing else.

In day-to-day use the tool works only from the time you want to wake or sleep, and it is usually opened for things like picking a bedtime for a fixed alarm. None of that reaches us, so none of it can be stored.

What you enter

The tool runs entirely client-side. What you type is used locally and only locally: there is no server round-trip, no log line, and no record kept anywhere but on your own screen for as long as the page is open.

Information collected as you browse

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may process the basic technical information needed to deliver a page: IP address, browser and device type, referring page and pages viewed. This is used for security, troubleshooting and understanding which tools are used, and is never joined to anything you type into the tool.

Advertising, cookies and your choices

Advertising keeps the site free and is delivered by external networks, which may use cookies or similar technologies to show interest-based ads. Google, as one such partner, lets you opt out through its ad settings. Turning cookies off does not break anything here.

Analytics and aggregate statistics

Where analytics are enabled they record aggregate usage only — page views and approximate region. We do not build individual profiles, and analytics providers are never given access to what you enter into the tool.

Health-related inputs

The health figures you supply are used for the calculation in front of you and nothing else. There is no account, no profile and no history, so nothing accumulates about your body over time.

Retention and security

Because your inputs are never transmitted, there is no store of personal measurements to retain or protect. Standard security practice applies to the site itself, including HTTPS on every page.

Children

The site is not designed for, or marketed to, children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

The rights you have

Privacy law in some regions gives you the right to see, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data held about you. In practice we hold almost nothing tied to you, since calculator input never reaches us, but any request you make will be taken seriously.

When this policy is revised

The policy is kept current with the site. When something material changes, the date at the top is updated so the revision is visible.
